I know I haven't been posting, neither could I find time to properly fangirl nowadays. But! I have been learning CSS at school; one of the subjects I have for this semester focuses on HTML and CSS.

Yep, you got it right, love! I got lazy and looked for a pre-made layout. Of course, I edited a couple of things because I'm picky, but I pretty much like this layout. Cool ne?

PS. I am very very very happy with the layout. Credits at the bottom!

While I was trying to figure out a nice background thingy for my layout, I started playing around with brushes til I got to the point of writing down the members' names for fun. Only the line was straight, and I think Nino's name got the best handwriting. Ohno's name started out nice, but it flew upwards towards the end. XD

Because I'm not satisfied with looking up free layouts and using them as they are, I'm currently learning CSS for the purpose of coming up with my own LJ layout for Flexible Squares (so I can easily revert to my old one anytime I wish).

Right now, I'm using this pretty (and minimal) layout as model and so far I got around to finalizing which font ( Read more... )

I've been trying several fonts for my journal and at the moment I am completely in love with Consolas which is a mono-spaced font. I think the size that I'm using right now is good enough for my taste, cause any smaller would've made the reader give up due to excessive squinting. And anything bigger would mess up the length I prefer for all of my ( Read more... )

I couldn't quite figure out the display settings by using the default first post due to the HTML settings in it (but in the end I decided to edit it anyway -___-), so I'll just do a quick post to check the following things:

• font size
• date
• whatever font style works
